Keyboard selector button
I use password manager's keyboard to input usernames and passwords. To be able to switch keybords directly from the keyboard, without the need to open notifications, click on change keyboard an then choose my pass manager keyboard would be great.
For example: Long-pressing new row (enter) key opens keyboard selector/switches keyboard

Md Zameer MergedThere must be an option/dedicated key on the board which allows to switch between different keyboards (gBoard, PicBoard, etc.).

Janis BernekerHi Tomislav
Since Android 8 or 9 there is already a button below the keyboard in the navigation bar where you can easily switch to other keyboards. Is this no solution for you? On iOS there is already a Globe button by the way in the special characters layer. -

TomislavYes, one can swich keyboards from the "choose imput method" notification, but that means pulling down notifications, scrolling to the notification, clicking it, then clicking on the desired keyboard. As opposed to long-pressing enter/dedicated key.

Tomislav@Janis Berneker Unfortunately, on phones with hardware buttons there is no navigation bar (HTC U11) so even though I am running android 10 (LineageOS 17.1) I do not have that button available.

Mark GellerSwitching keyboards on ios remains a severe challenge. By clicking on the typewise icon above the keys, we are offered layout, settings, and tutorial. Why cant this be easier?

Totally agree, I use not only password manager keyboard, but also barcode scanner keyboard, and when I exercise foreign languages with DuoLingo/Rosetta Stone, I need to exercise on different keyboard -> and sometimes I need voice recoghition or handwriting with stylus. I use different keyboards for different tasks on variety devices (Phones, e-Ink e-Paper Android Tablets etc) -

AdrienneJust want to upvote the need for a keyboard switching button iOS. I like typewise if I have a lot to type on my iPad, but for a lot of short text or for making corrections, I much prefer Gboard. Every time I try to switch to Typewise, I use it for one long note, but then when I can't switch to gboard I disable it again.
