Swipe from one letter to another to form a word and write faster.
This won't be easy because we already use gestures to capitalize, delete and restore. 😊
@janis: i think the currently implemented gestures are clear, short and unidirectional, while a swipe is longer with many changes in direction. Pleeease implement
Add SWIPE typing please, the swipe back and restore foward is nice but SECONDARY functions
And the space bar is large and redundant; Maybe SWIPE right for SPACE and SWIPE left for DELETE

You can give swipe as an option. For not to interfere with your regular gestures, add a swipe button (can be placed at extreme end at both sides which is blank as of now or whole suggestion bar ) so that swiping will be activated only if you start swiping from that button or area.
i agree, swipe typing is my main way to type using only one hand, once you memorise where is each letter in the keyboard it is way easier to type than pressing each letter individually

Swipe typing would be really nice to have.
Swipe is just where its at. The first thing i thought when i saw Typewise' layout was, "Finally! A keyboard that is perfectly designed for swiping!"I was sooo disappointed when i realized that it wasn't supported, and that i'd have to go back to tapping. While i love the Typewise layout and have worked hard and adjusted to it successfully, I'm typing at half the speed of a swipe keyboard. I will probably go back.
it should be a setting because some people might not want it
@typewise team. In some of the app ratings your response was that typing with two hands is faster than swiping. You may be right. But what about users with smaller phones who are using only one finger to type?? In this case typing is much much slower than swiping - and more annoying, too. Please have that in mind when you're answering to users reviews.

You can adapt the gboard swipe typing library to be formatted for your keyboard this would allow for even faster typing down You could create a zone either above the keyboard or between the space keys where the quick correct features would still be implemented and unaffected otherwise the swipe keyboard would work as normal also the ability to curse back without deleting text would be extraordinarily useful.Thx

I'll buy if you give this feature this is the most i miss form gboard. Please do it
It is a nice tool. Two things may be changed for the future; the position for the semikolon as it is used very often. Would it bepossible to add a Swiss german layout? Additionally the ä,ü,ö are pretty hard to point. Regards John
Would definitely buy a subscription/lifetime if swiping was supported~
I don't get you people.... there are soooo many swipe keyboards on the market, this one is supposed to be an alternative way of typing. Yet every single keyboard without swipe will have people requesting it. Why did you even install this if you were looking for a swipe keyboard?
I really want to like this keyboard, but I need swipe. I've been using swipe for 8 years and can't go back to two-handed typing.
One option might be to have existing gestures (e.g., backspace) only start on the space keys when glide typing is enabled. You might then flick up on the space key to capitalize the next word before tracing it.
Support to swipe text optionally and disable swipe gestures to be able to swipe text. Add the necessary buttons that there isnt there when in swipe text.

Not having swipe is a nonstarter for me. I was very excited to use this keyboard, but as soon as I realized I couldn't swipe I switched back to gboard. Guess I'll just wait for them to email me they've added this.
Swipe much faster for experience users hit buttons one by one on screen it's step back.P.s. backspace by swipe funny, but frustrate me in case when i need delete just one letter
For example, the word play do pl with a swipe and then finish the word.
I use swipe to text pretty frequently, but less than half the time. I would very much like having the option to swipe with this keyboard. I would probably be willing to get the Pro version if it had swipe as an option.
I would use your keyboard, if I could write with swiping!

Not planned? Too bad and a real pity. Should you ever change your mind, I'll take a lifetime license. Without swipe/flow/gliding typewise is useless for us.
On my iPhone' us native keyboard, it supports a typing method that involves holding your finger on the keyboard and dragging it across the letters you want. When you lift your finger, the word completes and a space is added automatically.
"swipe typing, such as is available on the standard iPhone keyboard." (suggested by Segev on 2022-03-01), including upvotes (1) and comments (0), was merged into this suggestion.
Swich button, on-off gestural writing.
So is it forever a no because “that won’t be easy?” May second think subscribing to PRO with a response like this from Janis …
Typewise already innovated by using *some* swipe gestures to bring typing into the modern age and it's really cool! Now take what you've started to completion by allowing the whole word to be swiped! It would not interfere with existing gestures. The fact that keys are hexagonal swiping up to select a symbol or capital individual letter does not go into another key (because it's hexagon). Backspace by sliding from space bar will continue to work exactly the same with no interference. For capitalizing swiped words, what the original Swype keyboard that pioneered the concept (it was pre-installed on Galaxy S4 I think, that's how regular people found out about this feature) What they did was swipe directly up to the top of the keyboard after the first letter, that's the best way to avoid clicking a shift and is in tune with the typewise way of doing things. To ease development only add swipe typing to the hexagon layout. But please don't take us back to the stone age of keyboards!
