„“ and ‚‘ (Gänsefüsschen)

For german languages please add the „“ and ’ or even ‚‘ to the second layer. It would be very handy when editing text on the go, in which they are used regularly.

You're right. At the moment you can use ' and " though. Problem is that everyone needs other special characters that's why probably the only solution will be to make it adjustable somehow.

The left (bottom) single and double quotes could be inserted automatically when pressing ' or " after a space character AND before a non-space character. But then you need a command to undo the last auto-correction (à la CTRL-Z in Word).
Another suggestion would be swiping down ' or " as for lowercase characters on the uppercase keyboard.
The same job should work for inverted ! and ? , eliminating the key caption for ¡ and ¿ .

The default Apple keyboard substitutes " and ' with „“ and ‚‘ automatically once typed. Maybe it’s possible to add a similar behaviour.
