BenjiWhat are permitted special characters? This is no attack, but i don't understand why this has so many upvotes, as we already have this. The second layer of the keyboard shows only numbers ... and a bunch of special characters, of which none are illegal. In fact, the backtick (`) is not an illegal character, but is missing altogether in typewise.

AbeBenji: I guess he refers to having a phone-dialing-like layout, for it is easier to, well, dial and register numbers.

What I mean by this is that there are input fields that only allows numbers.
In html it would be this for example:
<input type="number">
When I enter data into such a field, I want the keyboard to show me only numbers and not special characters like *«+-§&@ because they are not valid for this input field. -

Random UserFor number-only inputs, I'd like a number only layout with vanity characters visible on the number keys.

Would be handy for long PINs derived as vanity number from a rememberable password. -
