  the keyboard as it is has the exact same size as a standart keyboard. it might look bigger, because of the bigger keys, but it isn't.
  making it smaller would squeeze the keys, which would kill the hexagon roundish shape...
  you ask to change the fundamental idea of the keyboard

  Please add a setting that allows the customisation of keyboard sizes. I have a Note 9 so the keyboard is way too massive to easily use.

  I use the Keyboard on my Galaxy tab S6. It way too big to use it properly. It would be nice to change the Sice of the Keyboard. Free Space between a third of the Keyboard doesnt bother me.

  I agree that the keybord could be smaller. If i switch to tab mode, keys are much smaller but i get the split layout which i is not what i want...

  Please reduce the size of hexagonal keys (by probably flattening them to some extent) so that the height of the keyboard can reduce. The size of your normal keyboard itself is huge that my thumbs can't reach the top row. And the hexagonal keyboard is so huge that my thumbs can't reach the top two rows. Though i love your keyboard but just for this reason i have to switch back to Fleksy or Gboard or Swiftkey.

  I changed from google key to swipewise and type always wrong because the keys are bigger/wider now and. A shorter way from letter to letter would be faster also. Suggestion: setup for individual size of the key-bar

  -> I'd say the fundamental idea is to have a well behaving keyboard. One can read that as 'not getting into the user's way'. I think flattening the hexagons to non-regular hexagons at the user's will is perfectly legit and a great improvement.

  With my big fingers I would love to have a big keyboard when I hold my phone horizontally. Without the number keyboard etc. Just like the standard keyboard in the normal position.

  On landscape I feel that the keys have a smaller area than it has in portrait mode. Make it resizeable (even if the resize range is little)

  On my Pixel C tablet, the keyboard is sized reasonably, though larger than strictly necessary, in portrait mode, but is absurdly large in landscape mode, taking up over half of the screen. It would make much more sense to keep the keyboard the same height and just add more space between the sections.

  In the vertical position, I suggest three layouts being the current 67676=32 letters across as well as a bigger 565656=33 letters across and a 7878=30 letters across. Also, the blue banner for word suggestions is currently twice as high as it needs to be.

  I use typewise on a 3:2 screen (surface duo). Typewise spannes the keyboard automatically to the width of the screen. The keyboard gets therefore so big, that 2/3 of the screen is covered by the keyboard.

  I would love it if Typewise would be resizable. On my iPad mini I use landscape mode exclusively, one-handed with a stylus. The stock keyboard is too large, taking up over 50% of the screen. And it’s exhausting to use one-handed with a stylus. So I use the floating keyboard. But it is too small, and NO punctuation is accessible except through the number key!
  
  I have as yet not found a keyboard for iPad mini that can be resized. SwiftKey for Android has handles to drag to adjust height, width, and position on the screen. But their iOS version does not have this feature.

  Portrait mode is fine. But landscape mode is difficult to use. Keyboard uses more than 2/3 of screen height. You can't see at least a small part of the message you reply to in this mode.
  I would prefer reordering keys to 3 rows (now there are 5 rows), without number keys in the middle. Different layout would be fine, could be a hexagonal qwerty like.

  BUT DEFINITELY TAKE OUT THE SPACE BAR FROM THE TRADITIONAL KEYBOARD. Maybe add other symbols, accents or just take out the entire bottom row and make the Return key a "Down and Left Swipe" and the emojis a "Down and Right Swipe".

  Being able to make the keyboard just a little smaller is my number one thing. It's literally almost perfect except that I have to reach so far for the bottom row of keys.

  I prefer to use Typewise in landscape mode, the keyboard gets split in two and it's much easier for me to type, with my big stupid fingers, without so many typos. My problem is quite often, I can't see what I'm typing, as the keyboard takes up most of the screen. The contact name takes up about 1/7th of the screen. The message I'm typing gets approximately 1/20th. Typewise suggested words bar takes up nearly another 1/7th of the screen, the keyboard the rest. I could happily lose Typwise suggestions so I can see what I'm actually f*cking typing. Or just squeeze the suggested words bar and keyboard a bit. I've upgraded to premium for the trial period, but can't see myself subscribing permanently with this pretty glaring issue.

  Loving the new buttons, but now the rest of the buttons is too small for me, makong it timeconsuming to write properly.

  Für mich und meine dicken Finger wäre das Gegenteil angebracht. Ich würde gerne die Tastatur-Höhe vergrößern können. Vor allem die normale querty(z)-Tastatur-Höhe ist viel zu gering.

  I share my phone with family members, so the hex keys aren't a good option. I really love the gestures for Typewise, so please make the keys taller by about 60%, or a way to customize their height. The current keys are too small for my oversized thumbs.

  Please make the traditional layout resizable so that it can be larger. It is too small as is. Typewise has the best overall accuracy, it just needs better customization to accommodate larger touchprints.
