Please implement Caps lock to make it easier to write entire sentences in capitalized letters.

Peter Huber MergedCurrently the "123"-key works as a number shift key with shift lock enabled.
My suggestion is to introduce a long tap of this key together with a switch in the general settings meaning:
ON: single tap on "123" locks number keypad until unlocked by single tapping "ABC" and
long tap activates number keypad for the next key only.
OFF: single tap on "123" activates number keypad for the next key only and
long tap locks number keypad until unlocked by single tapping "ABC". -

MikeLove the app! Sometimes you do need caps lock when entering verification codes or wifi passwords with long strings of capital letters. Would love this feature!

Ritchie ThompsonTypewise is useless for typing things like passwords that have multiple capital characters. I'm not quite used to the swipe action to cap a letter and with a password field asterisk-masked it makes typing a secure password nearly impossible. Add a cap lock feature or I will likely uninstall the app. As a note though...on Galaxy S21 Ultra I can easily switch the keyboard in my texting app (Textra) and back again...but I shouldn't have to do this with a good keyboard app. HUGE oversight not to provide caps lock. C'mon guys.

Greg BeachA possible solution would be to put half hexagons beside the "." and "?" keys. It's on the same row as the space keys so it's klnd of logical. It should also be a long press to avoid accidental activation.

JoshTo follow the existing swipe-based design of the app, maybe a double-swipe-up from each spacebar would be a viable option to trigger a Caps Lock. To disable, double swipe down.

Isaiah MergedI highly recommend adding a shift button because there are several instances when you may to use a capital letter such as names, places & in passwords. It would fit nicely if one was on the left of the 'w' & one on the right of the 'o'.

Michel Kehl MergedIt would be very helpful if the letters displayed on the keyboard would always be shown as capital letters. Now we se capital letters only at the beginning of a sentence.
Our eye identifies capital letters much faster and writing speed would speed up like this.
Thats why on normal computer keyboards and old typewriters we see only cepital letters, even if we write most of the time in lowercase letters.
This could be risolved easily in the App settings with a button that could be switched on for those who like this feature.
Please implement this in the next update.

MacSkillerPlease add function for caps lock! Perhaps downswiping the emoticon/numerical/alpha key that's just to the left of the carriage return/new line/enter key. Thanks! Is there a problem doing this? Seems like people have been asking for some time. Rather discouraging paying so much money for the app and not having a basic feature like that, or does it already exist and I not know it?

AnnaSo this change is updates now and I hate it.... why can't we choose if we want a change or not? Or why can't we choose the layout? Who needs words writen in capital letters?
Please let the people choose what they want and what they dont want.
