Have the option to type in italics.

I believe that would be a limitation of the application you are using, and not the keyboard. Several applications have options to change font to italics/bold/colors etc. But not every application allows it.

I know Google chats and discord have these options (but they are hidden), but most SMS applications don't have it, because of a limitation of SMS.
