Adjustable Backspace Threshold and Sensitivity

An option to adjust the distance/time at which a single backspace becomes a continuous backswipe, and to adjust the distance you have to swipe inbetween deleting each character past this threshold, would be nice. Currently, I feel this threshold is too large, and deleting multiple characters is too sensitive.
