  Completely agree with Owen - the logo is obtrusive and not attractive (sorry Typewise). The bright color of the Smart Bar is also very distracting. The entire Smart Bar should be subtle so that you can focus on the keyboard and fall back on the suggestions if you choose to use them. I really like the functionality of the Smart Bar but dislike the icon and bright blue color band while using the "dark" theme that I turn it off. A Smart Bar that is non-branded and has subtle coloration would make this keyboard outstanding.

  +1 to removing the logo. It not only takes space, it also makes the keyboard look less professional. Please remove for Pro or add an option to remove.

  The logo takes up a lot of space which can be used for more word predictions (especially if someone's using multiple languages) and not everybody needs to change the settings from the keyboard.

  Agree! Smartbar is also too bright! The logo should be removed. Looks like advertising!

  Agreed - the logo is not necessary and takes up a lot of space. And the flags are problematic because they stand for countries not languages. Most non-English native speakers, for example, who'd like to type in English don't particularly care about US vs UK and probably don't wish to see an American or British flag there *all the time*.

  If it is slightly thinner or narrower (60-80%), it would nicely fit into the empty space above 'q' and to the left from 'w'. The suggestion bar would gain 10-15% space approximately.

  I never come to websites like this and make suggestions. I'm a lifetime member, I love this keyboard. This logo in the corner is distractingly ugly and breaks the beauty and design of the keyboard. I came here to post this and found others have the same issue. Please, let me turn this off. It is the single worst problem with this simple and beautiful keyboard.

  The flags can evoke nationalist connotations and do not fit for many languages. For the first point, I was just now thinking of Russian, the language (vs Russia as a nation). I would appreciate Russian to be added as a language, but would *hate* to see the national flag there permanantly while typing because of the current war with Ukraine and the atrocities committed...
  For the second point, there are languages that are used over many countries, like Spanish, which is spoken mostly in Mexico, but comes from Spain, and is also spoken in many other countries. Other examples I can think of are: English, French and Portuguese.

  I just subscribed hoping an option would appear to remove branding... but alas! I agree with the comments above. Fair enough to keep it on the free version, but if you really want users to feel like they can naturally integrate this keyboard.. the branding and the thick blue suggestion bar stick out like a saw thumb to what otherwise feels like a sleek design. It's like having a hand transplant... it would integrate with the iOS immune system more easily if it didn't scream "I'm a foreign body!" so loudly.
