Vertical hexagonal keyboard arrangement

Things I appreciate with Typewise:
Rotating the phone into landscape splits the hexagonal keyboard and introduces an extra numeric key-pad.
Privacy
Suggestion:
Arrange the left and right key groupings vertically on the respective left and right of the phone's screen.
Why do this?
When I hold my Pixel XL 4 I find my thumbs are either side of the long-side, midway between top and bottom. Typing on the hexagonal keyboard at the bottom of the screen risks dropping the phone.
Splitting the hexagonal keyboard between left and right and arraying the keys vertically allows the phone to be held while typing.
