On android the text edit menus are crap. I much around with some coding on my phone and I have the same problem all the time. I do select all and I want to delete the text and it won't work. Typing delete doesn't delete the selection it just takes one character off. Typing a single character doesn't replace the selection it just adds it on. If I go to the gboard text editing menu even I can copy, paste but not cut or delete. It's maddening. Can you make it so a select all / delete? Different apps have done all sorts of rubbish with my menu so I can send to acrobat, translate even send it via satellite phone to the ISS. But not delete it. If you added shortcuts for coders like ctrla ctrlx del home end etc. you would be onto a winner because hackers keyboard doesn't work any more.

Currently, I find it necessary to manually highlight and delete this information via the Smart Bar on a regular basis, which can be quite tedious. Having the ability to permanently disable the auto-save feature for such fields would provide a more seamless and secure experience.

Disable AutoCorrection of Correct English words

I need autocorrect enabled because I frequently make typos and it is a normal and crucial feature of any software keyboard for smartphone. However, Typewise keeps replacing correctly typed real English words with different English words. "Onism" becomes "monism". "Sexual" inexplicably gets autocorrected to "asexual" despite the first word being used roughly 100 times more frequently in English language than the second. it would be OK if this happened once, but it happens over and over and over with the same exact words.

These are only 2 examples. It is extremely common for this problem to happen when typing any word you might have learned when studying for the SAT. Why does Typewise insist on changing what word you type? there should absolutely be a setting which forces AutoCorrect to not change any words unless they are not in the dictionary. There’s no way that the word "sexual" isn't in the dictionary.

If I add a custom text replacement, say, "abc" to "abcd", then if I type "Abc" it gets auto replaced with "abcd" when it should have been "Abcd". Replacement should use the same capitalization as the entered word, at least for word-to-word replacements.

This should equally apply to custom replacements that include hyphens or other punctuation. For instance, in my language (Romanian) the autosuggestion engine doesn't seem capable to predict or replace combinations of words using hyphens, e.g.: l-am, mi-e, v-am... Consequently, I've built up a sizeable custom dictionary using Text Replacements. But it always ignores the contextual capitalization and provides only lowercase replacements, which is frustrating.

I want to be able to pass through words without deleting them, like we know how windows has those left/right buttons which when you type you use to go between letters. Imagine you have the word America, but you make a typo and don't realize it so it's Amelica. If it was a normal keyboard you would have to delete half of the word because of one letter(and imagine it as you forgetting to add a word or not realising till the end of the sentance) but with windows(and typewise hopefully) you could just go between the letters and only delete the one you want spacifically. So clicking on left takes you one letter back without deleting anything.

I imagine it as either two <left right> buttons on the sides of the top letter row (just like delete or capitalize buttons) or it could be a slider on the top row (so instead of deleting in the top row (like the rest of the keyboard) the trackpad is there.

The current accent sellector is to broad and non-specific, I suggest a language specific accent selection option for example: if you navigate to accent and open the selector there could be a drop down menu with language specific accents depending on which languages you have selected. So lets say you have Spanish and German selected as additional languages you use, the drop menu would have a check box and select only the accents you would use for the language you select.

In this way it would eliminate the need to go through and find specific accents and allow for easier customization and still allow the user to select certain accents in addition to the language specific accents.

Typing a text with only a few (non-connected) numbers (or symbols) in it can be quite slow with typewise because you always have to switch the layout back and forth for them. (And one can't put all of them behind the ./?-keys.)

My suggestion would be that if I press the 123-key without releasing it the the layout should change to the symbols keyboard. If I then (still without releasing) swipe to a key and release at this position, this key should be typed and the layout should instantly switch back to letters.
Ideally, this should be possible/implemented alongside the normal short-touch behavior which switches the layout until it's manually switched back.

I found that I have better luck just disabling them and swiping right for space. However, it is taking me a while to get used to it since it still shows the space buttons. If I accidentally tap them, it types one of the adjacenct letters. I have two suggestions:
1. When space is disabled, make the space bar buttons darker or black
2. When space is disabled, don't type anything when I tap the space bar buttons
